The Kieler Spade is a mid size rounded digging spade, made for digging holes and planting. The straight handle is designed for maximizing the pushing force into harder soils. The Kieler's round and pointed cutting edge works well in harder and more compact soils. The lacquered handle finish will protect the wood against the elements and moisture, and from drying out over time. The powder coated finish on the head will protect against rust, and gives this product line a uniform appearance.
